I've had an amazing experience of travelling as a volunteer of Madinah Welfare Trust to support the oppressed Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh. I travelled twice as a relief worker and carried out major distributions among the Rohingya community, which I consider to be among the greatest achievements of my life. This interaction brought a great degree of satisfaction as it allowed me to be directly at the side of such poor and downtrodden people. I thank Madinah Welfare Trust for allowing me the opportunity and I would also like to express my appreciation for the donors for their contributions.

I had volunteered for Madinah Welfare Trust on a few occasions. This exposure began to inspire me, and as I began to understand and appreciate the full nature of their work, I joined as a dedicated volunteer. The experience was nothing short of being exhilarating and spiritually rewarding, as only those can appreciate who have had the privileged experience of working in remote areas among people who are far far less fortunate than we are.

During the recent lockdown Madinah Welfare Trust approached me to work as a volunteer for packaging and distributing food parcels to the needy and poor people of the Distt Malda (West Bengal, India). We managed to distribute more than a thousand food packs. I cannot describe how inspiring this simple service was for me, as it impacted me spiritually deep within and changed my innerself as a result of coming into such close contact with the poor sections of the society. Thanks to Madinah Welfare Trust for inspiring me to join.
