I've had an amazing experience of travelling as a volunteer of Madinah Welfare Trust to support the oppressed Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh. I travelled twice as a relief worker and carried out major distributions among the Rohingya community, which I consider to be among the greatest achievements of my life. This interaction brought a great degree of satisfaction as it allowed me to be directly at the side of such poor and downtrodden people. I thank Madinah Welfare Trust for allowing me the opportunity and I would also like to express my appreciation for the donors for their contributions.

I had volunteered for Madinah Welfare Trust on a few occasions. This exposure began to inspire me, and as I began to understand and appreciate the full nature of their work, I joined as a dedicated volunteer. The experience was nothing short of being exhilarating and spiritually rewarding, as only those can appreciate who have had the privileged experience of working in remote areas among people who are far far less fortunate than we are.

During the recent lockdown Madinah Welfare Trust approached me to work as a volunteer for packaging and distributing food parcels to the needy and poor people of the Distt Malda (West Bengal, India). We managed to distribute more than a thousand food packs. I cannot describe how inspiring this simple service was for me, as it impacted me spiritually deep within and changed my innerself as a result of coming into such close contact with the poor sections of the society. Thanks to Madinah Welfare Trust for inspiring me to join.

My name is Zubaidah, and I am a student at a madrasah managed by Madinah Welfare Trust. Currently, I am studying Qur'an recitation, du'aas, and the masaail of Salah, among other subjects. I thoroughly enjoy the learning process throughout the year, but the most exciting part is the exams, when we receive generous prizes, thanks to the support of Madinah Welfare Trust."

I was orphaned at a very young age, and my mother worked as a maid. I grew up in extreme poverty without access to school or madrasah. Shortly after, my mother passed away from cancer, leaving me with no one by my side and a bleak future. However, Madinah Welfare Trust stepped in like an angel, arranging my marriage and covering all the expenses. Now, I am economically stable.

Our masjid serves as the central hub for 46 villages. After years of struggle and no progress, Madinah Welfare Trust stepped in to assist. Thanks to their support, we can now pray and conduct various activities with much ease, alhamdulillah. We pray that Allah bless and accept the efforts of all the donors who have contributed to this noble cause. Aameen.
